Before there was Banksy… there was Blek le Rat.
Blek traveled between France and NYC in the 70s and 80s, experimenting with graffiti, and becoming one of the original urban stencil graffiti artists.

Even if you haven’t heard of the photographer Harry Benson, you’ve probably seen his photos. Benson, 78, has taken amazing iconic photos over the course of his life. There’s a great piece on NPR, interviewing him, and featuring a slide show of some of his most enduring subjects.
