I came across JacqleenBleu’s work on etsy (probably arriving there through a long chain of clicks from one link to the next) and instantly added her to my favorites.

Her photography is pensive and dreamy: it has a very charming surreal quality– but in a grounded, thoughtful way. All of her work has a moody, mysterious nature hiding in the heavy shadows and amongst the scatter objects. The color palette most drew me in at first glance: creamy, muted neutrals mix with vintage-aged electric brights.

I admired from afar until, just yesterday, I got a messsage from her to my etsy account. I was so pleased and pleasantly surprised. She had come across the Ex Libris blog and was happy to find I had blogged about 2 of her prints in one of my “Etsy favorites of the week” posts from a few weeks ago.
